All the stories
Little ones listen better to a story than to a rule. In these stories Kiko the fox and his friends meet the same small battles your child does: a messy room, a shirt that goes on backwards, a slide that looks too tall. They find their own way through, and the lesson comes at the end in one simple sentence.
Every story takes about three minutes to read, has four pictures, three questions to talk about and a week of stars to colour in, so the idea turns into a habit. Read them on screen, let the tablet read them aloud, or print them for bedtime.
Questions parents and teachers ask
What age are these stories for?
They are written for ages 4 to 7: short sentences, four pictures and one clear idea. Older brothers and sisters can read them aloud to younger ones.
Are the stories free to print?
Yes. Every story prints on two pages with its pictures, questions and a sticker-style star chart. You can print them for home or class.
Who wrote the stories?
All the stories and pictures were made for Fox & Pencil. They are not retellings of other books, so you will not find them anywhere else.
Planning more than homework?
Our sister site Plan Your Kid helps you pick a name your child can grow with, and predicts how tall they'll be.
